Year 1 – Review of 2015

With only about 3 months left until the end of 2016, I thought it was time to look back on the first year of SteamPunk Junction. It was a very eventful year, where many of my current projects saw their beginnings. Here are the various events and milestones from 2015:

Built 1st Lego streetcar – January 14th


My fleet of 14 Lego TTC models began with this little horsecar.

Founded the SteamPunk Junction – February 16th


An early version of my SPJ logo.

West Toronto Junction Historical Society Meeting – March 5th


My first time wearing my new vest out to a WTJHS meeting, where I met Dave Cook, the author of Fading History.

Junction Triangle’s Naming Project 5th Anniversary – March 16th


A local gathering where I met various city Councillors.

Phi Delta Theta 25th Founder’s Day March 22nd, 2015


My first major freelance video shoot: The McMaster University’s fraternity, Phi Delta Theta’s 25th Founders Day Celebration.

WTJHS Meeting – April 2nd


The first WTJHS meeting where I spoke infront of the other members, about my plans for the SteamPunk Junction. I also brought out my old cameras and 2 Lego vehicles for a small display.
